Grain Mites

Tonight I found Grain mites had infested my mealworm tub and were all over my leo rack. They crawled off the rack and onto my bed. The numbers exploded. I had completely cleaned the whole rack and my leos tubs a couple days ago and hadnt noticed any grain mites on them. Everything went into the garage except the leos. All my sheets on my bed went into the washer machine. And i vaccumed the area in my room. Hopefully the remainder will die without an moisture or food. Has anyone else had an experience like this?

I've never had grain mites get further than the feeder enclosure. Hot water does the job usually, though.
