Gravid female, going on vacation....

I bred my male SHTCT to a first time breeder who laid her first clutch which consisted of one dud. Now she is ovulating again and I am preparing for her 2nd clutch, only problem is I am goin to be away for a week. Any suggestions as to what I should do? Will her 2nd clutch of eggs be fertile or is it expected for them to be duds? Thanks!

Just make sure she has a nice lay box with spag moss or vermiculite to bury those eggs in. They should be okay as long as it's not too moist or too dry. If you decide on vermiculite do the 1:1 water ratio for the lay box so you'll be sure you don't have to worry. Make sure the temps arn't to high either bring them down to 85-87* She'll be fine for a week and so will the eggs. Hope I could help. Goodluck

If I go away and think there may be eggs, I move my lay box from the cool side to the warm side.
