Sorry I havent really updated what I have been up too recently lol. I'm pregnant and 3 days overdue lmao!

Anyways heres the update:

I have been raising some blizzards as everyone already knows. And I guess I got a little "color crazy" Because the guy I got the blizzards from had some new hatchlings at a super cheap price, and I folded in the temptation lol.

Now I have a blazing blizzard, R.A.P.T.O.R, and a super snow. Ontop of the others lol. So my time has been pretty crazy on feedings, cleaning all the cages dadada, until they are all old enough to start figuring out whos female and can be housed together.

Anyways my question is this, The R.A.P.T.O.R baby I got, well he/she has some crazy coloring, like the head has a purple tint, the body is verry yellow/orange, but the lower waist is green?

Is the green just some sort of weird color comming through from his insides since he/she is just a hatchling? Or do raptors really get shades of green???

The Patternless Stripe Gene, AKA the P in RAPTOR throws a lot of crazy things it is the predecessor to the Eclipse, APTOR, "Emerine", and things of that sort. So its nothing out of the ordinary, just means you have a handsome RAPTOR on your hands ;)

Without a pic its hard to say, but hatchling raptors are very transparent, you can see alot of insides on them and they do sometimes put off green tints and purple hues, they look cool as hatchlings but usually change as adults to a more solid coloration which too looks very cool, and the color which is usually tangerine for the majority of coloration you may get some spots that look purple on adults. I Would love to see a pic though you never know you may have something special. Good luck,

Adam

Firstly, I'd just like to say congrats on the pregnancy!

I think it would be pretty cool to have some green on the RAPTOR, but at the same time, I think that this could very well be the case because I noticed that the organs on our babies do tend to show through and look green. Either way, I'm sure it is very gorgeous :)
