Hello everyone. I'm new to the world or leopard geckos but have been researching/studying/admiring them for some time now. I have been an avid fish keeper for many years and decided to make the switch over to herps in January of this year. Wasn't quite sure which reptile I wanted at first but ended up falling in love with leopard geckos. I've been running 3 empty tanks (24x18x12, 36x18x12 and 20L) for about a month now making sure I could maintain the temps/humidty correctly and securing all the things to make my new kids comfortable. In anticipation of my new geckos I've also been growing a blaptica dubia roach farm for a little over two months and they seem to be thriving and multiplying quite well (my 13 year channa lucia has been eating them by the dozens and gives his approval ).
Everything is running stable and after several re-furninshings I think I'm finally ready for my new pets! I have three leos scheduled to arrive later this week and can hardly wait. I hope to continue learning more about this hobby and these marvelous creatures via this site and will post pics once my treasures arrive.
