Hey guys! So my adult male leo has developed some grey spots including one larger area on its back. It developed these quite suddenly and I feel it's due to a lack of humidity (he's always had shedding problems and has lost most of his toe tips). I've been giving him baths every day over the past 5 days, and have been applying olive oil which i felt helped a bit at first.

My question is do you know what these are? My main guess is a dry rash, but worried it might be a parasite? Eating has been fine! Not lost any weight.

I'd also like to hear what people think about applying Aveeno (natural/perfume free) moisturiser to the affected areas.

Attached are some pictures

Welcome to GF. THis does not look like a rash to me. It looks like pieces of shed that didn't flake off. I recommend you soak the gecko for a few minutes and use fingernails or tweezers to pick off the shed pieces. This occasionally happens to some of my leos and is more likely to happen when they're stressed (I'm not saying that yours is stressed just that it happens more often when mine are).

He just happened to be shedding that day. I've had leo's for 15 years haha, shedding isn't going to start worrying me today. I'm talking about the grey scars/patches under that

If it's not shed, to me it looks like color fading. It just doesn't look like a rash, but I've only got the picture, you've got the actual gecko.

Is your gecko housed with another gecko? If so I might think its a bite or other type of wound that is healing. In my experience, shed sticks a bit more to healing wounds than other places. Like Aliza said, it wouldn't really worry me unless it sprang up overnight. It looks pretty well healed. If it did spring up overnight I might seek out a vet for a consult and some advice.

P.S. If she is housed with another gecko I would separate them. They look like typical scratches/wounds from a male trying to breed an unwilling female or just being overly amorous.
