Well i have been working with grout for years now ,and for about the last 6 months I have been building rockwalls, caves, and backgrounds for local breeders and reptile owners, usually I use a sealer on it all, but I decided to call the makers of the grout and see what they said about it and see if I needed a sealer, they said it it no toxic when dry just let it air for a day or 2. so I put it to the forum to see what you all thought.

To seal or not to seal and why?

I seal mine with Epoxy Resin, I find it gives it a nice, very durable finish. I grout, paint then seal. It insures a smoother finish as well, wanna make sure they dont snag themselves!

you should seal is that way no wast residue from the lizards will seep into the grout and the grout wont flake and chip as easly
