I know its mostly my fault since I can't get the geckos in a room without access ...

My little patty has been knocked off the dresser 3 times now. This last time - "her" back leg is bruised at the knee, but nothing seems broken and she is walking on it normal. Besides just watching it, anything else I need to be doing? I'm a vet tech, so I have access to pain medications, but we don't see exotics, so I don't know dosages. Anyone know the dosage for geckos for meloxicam?

I've had two instances where a gecko bruised or broke a leg. In one case it was a hatchling and the leg definitely looked broken. In the other case it was a sub-adult in a tank with several other geckos and there was a bruise. In both cases the gecko was initially limping. I separated each of them and kept them quiet in a small environment and in both cases they recovered with no extra care. The hatchling's leg was initially swollen and purple and by the time I sold her I couldn't tell which leg it was anymore.

Well, for sure- secure the tank better. Get little rubber stickies for the bottom of the tank or move it to a shelf with a back or something. Don't let it happen again. It's ridiculous if this has happened 3 times and you haven't changed anything.

Any time any of the 4 cats we have jump on any cages, I use a water bottle and spray them in the face with it. I use the mist not the full force spray. After a few times they will come up and watch me work with the geckos but will not try going in or on the cages.

I have changed things ... placed in different places, in cubby in the dresser, placed large books on top of the cage, etc. The dern cat is resourceful. He's not messed with any of the other 3 gecko cages, just the patty's cage. That was a little rude to assume I haven't changed things. I've done everything short of getting bungee straps and strapping this cage to the dresser (Haven;t figured out how to accomplish that one yet ... might bungee the cat to the table legs!)

That's why i had to get rid of my cat. I had her for over a year and she just got worse and worse. She used to get into the shelf of one of my racks and try to knock down the container.
