Just lost power on my whole block!!! I'm in the middle of packing and doing laundry for the weekend. Zach was in the shower and screamed which woke up Tori!! Lovely!!

I'm staying online till my backup battary dies. LOL

Normally it take a few hours to get the power back on when this happens, which I really don't.

This is a perfect reason to get one of those generators that runs off natural gas and kicks on 3 seconds after power goes out.

12 hours later and here I am typing this with my blackberry flip which has a stupid little display so it took forever just to get to this thead. Lol oh well I have nothing else I can do right now.

So far they put in a above ground junction box down the street and now they are tearing up a front yard of a neighbor's who is out of town, oh won't they be happy when they get home. I sent some phone pics to Eric and he can post them if he likes to show the mess on the street, it's only half of the trucks, took more pics with my camera that I will post once I get to MI and power! Thank God it's not too hot, but we are hoping it doesn't rain so they can fix this. Will be fun to see how long it takes these idiots. We keep hearing popping which to me is not a good sign.

If I could find my adaptor for my van I could sit in there with the laptop plugged in. Lol

Anyone have a generator I can borrow? Lol

oh man that sucks. Hopefully you get power back soon.
We lost power 2x in the 2 days but lucky they got power back on in a couple hours each time. And its humid and hot up our part of the country.
Of course my wife and I are so hooked on the Internet we didn't know what to do with ourselves...lol

LOL That last one was when the first started digging.

I gave up on waiting for the power so i tok a cold shower and packed up my wet clothes to dry once i got here in MI. I left about 1330, just talked to my neighbor, she said power was on around 1500.

happened to me once. almost lost my saltwater reef. almost $1000 worth of stuff in there. water temperature got down to 68 degrees, should be 79-80 degrees. My leo was getting cold. we went to a pharmacy to get heat packs and covered the aquarium and leopard gecko cage with them. we had no power for 20 hours. found out the next day a powerline fell.

oh and it was in the cold days of February
