Halmahera Concern.

So I got home from work today and took my Halmahera Gecko (Camo) out of his enclosure like I do everyday. Only this time I noticed something hanging from his vent. I set him down on my dresser and it came off. The object looks very similar to how my male tegu's sperm plugs look when hes ready to breed. So my question is this, Do halmaheras drop sperm plugs, or should I be worried. Like maybe its some kind of parasite? Any input on this question will be greatly appreciated as I am pretty new to the gecko world.

Looks like a sperm plug to me. Several species of geckos & lizards have sperm plugs.

Okay cool. I kinda freaked a little because I wasn't sure if they did or not. Awesome news though. Still trying to get this guys a female.

Yep sperm plug. My male produced them regularly. Good luck in the search for a female, these guys are easy to keep and breed and are highly underrated
