HAmm is a big fair. You have to pay only the entence fee and you can go in. Prity simple.

Maybe she means she needs an invitation by somebody to get the visa, because she is from the Ukraine? I don't know whether this is necessary any more, but when I was 17 (which was, ehem, 18 years ago) I needed to write a letter of invitation so a Russian could come to Germany for a short stay. He needed an "address." It was quite a procedure, with the embassy being involved.

I haven't been to Russia since 1994, and have no clue whether invitations are still necessary for Eastern European countries. I thought everyone can get a tourist visa now. But if so, I would suggest to contact one of the German breeders you see here on the forum, and ask for a letter of invitation as a potential gecko buyer....

Good luck!! Unless you are with your own car, you might want to get familiar with the German railway system Sometimes, there are discount tickets, especially on weekends and for students. I still buy my tickets from www.db.de, even from the U.S.
