How long should I let my leo adjust to his new space until I can start handling him?

Yea I was going to give him a week or two...he is eating great so far...3-4 large crickets a day and a mealworm or two. When should I stop feeding him everyday?

You dont need to feed him everyday, he is pretty much full grown. You only need to feed him 2 or 3 times tops a week:main_thumbsup:

I agree with both Marcia and Felicia.

Once you see the leo acting like the enclosure is home and not hiding as much and feeding normally it's okay to handle them. I would say around 1-2 weeks is average. But as Marcia they are all different. I have few nut cases that after 8 months don't want to be held at all. Then I have some juves who'll lay in your hand or sit on your shoulder.. They all have their own little personality which is in my opinion what makes them so indeering. (think i spelled that right)

as far as feeding - it's all by trial and error. I have some adults that munch every night and always clean their plate and some that will only eat every 2-3 days. Watch their habits and base your actions off of that.
