a monster lavender bell. hes not as light because big pappa bell is a hypo tang. and a hypo tang X lavender bell will make it not as nice. so i hoping this 4 gram hatchling is a boy so i can breed it back to the mom to make some nicer lavender colored animals. the mother is on her third breeding season and all her other babies from seasons past have been less than 2 grams and not nearly as elongated. this was the first time i tried breeding her into the giants

very nice hatchling! 4 grams is big as well! Mine actually was 3 grams from my bell pairing(1st year for both)

thanks but the thing is for some reason the lav bell line is kinda small. my female is almost most 4 years old, and never got any bigger than 51 grams. i have other female bells that are on average 55-60. this ones monther's average is only about 46 -50 grams.

Nice one Nevin! One line of our Lavender Bells are very small...the best looking ones I have a suspicion that I crossed into an Afghanicus female years ago with out knowing it at the time. Two other groups are normal sized. I actually had a female from our "tiny line" ovulate at 24 grams this year (no, I didn't breed her :main_rolleyes: )...but I'm guessing she would've been OK if I could bring myself to do it. She's a year old and in great health...

I noticed that bell albinos tend to be tinier than most my female is a little over a year and only 40-46 grams depending, but she's a chub nut just tiny, and two at my work are 6-7 months old and still look just like hatchlings, we feed well, they just don't grow
