Hard time shedding...

Well one of my females has had troubled shedding the past couple times, and i had to help her out. Well this time around she clearly had a hard time getting off the skin because she scraped off the skin off the tip of her nose and is all pink, she did this last time aswell and it healed up to a certain extent, then she shed again and undid all the healing up she's Been doing.
So my question is: is there a way to help her heal and maybe prevent it the next time around?

I'll get some pics a little later

she's in for a soak right now, and yes she has a humid hide and is kept in proper enclosure requirements,

i went through the same thing.Your from toronto like me and in the winter it gets dry in my house.Buy a mini humidifier for the room they are in.dont crank it right up there but set it for minimum just enough to put some humidity in the air.Mine only had problems when the ambient air was dry

A little update on the situation...This morning I noticed it seemed to be bothering her, but I let her be for a bit and I'd check when I got back from school. So this afternoon when I got back, her nose is actually bleeding so clearly she's been rubbing herself on stuff (I got all the shed off, so there is no stuck shed anywhere on her). Just wondering if I should put anything on her nose to help her (obviously something that wouldn't clog up her nose). I just feel kinda bad for her right now :(

PS In the pic it kinda looks like theres something white in her eye, but I assure you, I checked it out when I took the pics, it was just the flash of the camera I think that made it look like that.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Put some neosprin on it , but try not to cover up its nostrils and they also make a store medicine you could probably put on it.

Don't you think she'd lick it off? I know that's right where we stick something we want to get in them if we need to. And would it be bad for her if she did ingest it?

Ouch! Mine rubbed her nostril raw too once when trying to get stuck shed off, but it was a smaller pink area, and didn't bleed. I don't take chances with her anymore, as soon as I see her shedding I give her a soak and try to ease it off of her face. I have also tried to up the humidity in the enclosure by putting the water dish on the warm side. I just have to be diligent to change it daily now so it doesn't become a breeding ground. I'm in Ontario too and it's dry as heck during this time of year. I'm really hoping that it gets better in the summer. I'm not sure of what you can use on the wound, I was thinking polysporin, but I don't know if that would hurt them to eat.

ETA: Is there a particular piece of cage decor that she is rubbing on that's rough? I have a fake tree hide that's rough on the inside that I know mine did it on. If it happens again I'm taking it out and giving them a smoother hide on that side.

yeah the reason Im abit iffy about neosporin is cause I dont want to risk clogging up her nostrils (and maybe ingesting it, but Im not sure if theres something in it that's really toxic). She's been rubbing on her exo-terra hide, so I've been thinking abotu taking that out, and stick a plastic hide (that im using in the rack) in the tank instead. I guess I'll wait it out, and see how it heals.
