I was wandering around Lowes today and found something awesome. 4x4 in terracotta tiles for 5 cents a piece. I brought home 20 of them!

My plan: to line to bottom of the 20H tank for my Leo. Then with what's left over, build a swank hiding spot for her.

I picked up a tube of aquarium safe silicone sealer to bind the tiles together. I know that if it's safe for fish, it will be safe for the leo. However, I think I can find something stronger that will also be pet safe. Does anyone have any suggestions on a different binding material?

Not only safe, it's strong....
that's why they can build aquariums with it,
to hold under the weight of the water.
It's a good choice.
Take care. HJ

YAY!

I went back and picked up 4o more tiles today :) The snake cage is gonna get the same treatment as the gecko's did. Both of them are getting a custom made hide within the next week.

Thanks for confirming what I thought was true!

Post pics when you're done.

By the way good buy. I probably would have bought them out of tile at just 5 cents each
