She perplexes me
I look at her and at times she looks gravid-then at times she doesn't but she isn't getting huge with eggs
It's been quite a few years since I have bred my dragons but I seem to remember that with some females you really can't tell until they actually lay
I am used to being able to actually see the eggs bulging in their sides once they get real close to laying

I guess if I find eggs then I'll know for sure
:main_rolleyes:

She is eating and looks great
I know that first time females can take a while to lay but this is really seems like a long time

I just checked my post here about when I put them together and it was in late March so I would guess that they never mated

http://www.geckoforums.net/showthread.php?t=18251

If she isn't gravid-then I am jut going to wait for a while to pair them back up
I'm in no hurry right now

Anyone ever have a female take this long to lay eggs?

They're both really pretty! I'm no help with the breeding questions since I just have a male, but I think they'll make really nice babies.:)

I've never bred my beardie, but she definitely had egg-laying behavior: lots of pacing around the cage and eventually scratching on the ground as if she wanted to dig.

I have also seen that behavior in females not bred

Perhaps I need to move her tank out here where I can spend more time observing her

I actually have the room in the living room now with moving tanks and stuff around

Oh my aching back-lol!!

Nice looking Dragons! My female has some of the same color as yours. :)

Your using carefresh bedding with them right? How do you like it? I use the same thing(with my corn snakes too) but just changes to non adhesive shelf liner for easier cleaning. :)
