I wondered has anyone on here branded there own gecko's like if you are breeding SHCT and after a few years or so you got what you was looking for out of the morph (shade of orange or red, certain % of carrot-tail) whatever it maybe that you wanted to enhance in a morph, what did or would you name them? I would like to do a pretty lemony yellow project either Hypo Mack Snow or Patty Albino and name it after my son, his fav color is yellow. And I would like to do a green project for my wife(her fav color is green) and my youngest son Jaden who passed away. I dont know I think it adds fun to the whole thing I mean you breed to enhance the animal, to bring the best out of it and I think its a fun way to motivate yourself and stamp your hard work. I look at Tremper, Bell, even TUG, HISS, and JMG to name a few they all have a standard that they live up to and I would love to hear people talk about my geckos in the highest regard. I think it helps the leos out as well, I mean you get out of em what you put in and if you dont take responsability in feeding em the most nutritional diet, give em proper and clean living conditions, and some TLC (atleast what they will tolerate) you will produce unhealthy, unattractive, evil lil leos that nobody will want. I dont know im ranting I guess benn up all night getting injured dogs, oppusoms, and chasing squirrels out of peoples houses (the life of a animal control officer lol). I would like to hear what you guys think or what names and projects you would like to enhance and stamp.

Well the whole thing about naming a morph is one that can be done by anyone, but if the name sticks or not will depend on the public (herp world) opinion and acceptance of the name. It is easier to create a name if you are well know and have produced quality animals for years. Just continue working on your projects and if they are truely something unique and over time you have established yourself, its very likely the name can stick. I'm sorry to hear about your youngest.

Thanks, he's in better hands now and God don't make mistakes. Yeah I think with hard work and time a name may stick. I just hope to produce healthy young and boost certain atributes in the lil fellas. I get excited when I see some of the leos on here and even my lil pet*o SHTCT has shown major promise, I thinks she has atleast 75% carrot-tail, and her orange is popping, I can't wait to get a nice male for her and improve on the ct ang orange,my patties at first looked super dark but have since shown a gorgous yellow and I would love to add that to a albino or RAPTOR and see how much yellow I can get, I mean its so much fun just thinkin about it and hopefully my son will take to it,and maybe he could develop the next new morph, my cousins are already talkin bout getting rid of his hamsters and getting a leo
