Has anyone ever seen this before?

Hey guys, recently had a female Eclipse het Bell come in and her underside around her vent looks very weird.

You can see that she has these odd flaps over her vent. She also has (and you cant really see this in the picture) a little bump a bit higher up about a centimetre higher an her vent. Wondering if anyones seen anything like this before and if it may be an issue in the future. If I breed her I dont want deformed babies but most of all I dont want her to become eggbound because she cant pass eggs or something like that!

Any input would be strongly appreciated.

I'm no expert or vet, but it looks cosmetic to me. Some people will say you shouldn't breed any gecko that doesn't look absolutely perfect since there may be all sorts of things you can't see that are also wrong, but I say use common sense and this one looks pretty minor to me.

I have not seen this before in a gecko. Does she seem to suffer from it in any way? Is she laying still alot or is she licking it?

If you have the funds available, a visit to the vet would certainly not hurt :)

Nope does not appear to be suffering at all. Funds arent the issue, the quality of exotic animal vets where I live is. Most on the exotic animal vets in Quebec Canada specialize in rodents or birds. I've brought a few snakes to supposed snake vets here (because you can't buy antibiotics without a prescription here in Canada) and the Vet couldnt identify the species even. So I don't have a ton of faith in the Vets here.

And besides, like acpart said...It's basically a cosmetic flaw. She walks and eats fine. No redness--this isnt an inflammation. I posted this thread because I was hoping that someone else had seen it before. My concern is breeding her. I want her to be able to pass eggs and not become egg bound because her vent is slightly deformed. I think that that may be the only issue and even then---I doubt it would interfere with her being able to pass eggs but am looking for some reassurance.

Thanks for the input everyone
