This might be nothing really, but I am very inquisitive so any information is appreciated.

Wondering if this could be genetic? And if its possible to try to produce more snows with a tail like this? Some guidance on what I would need to breed him with to see if I can would be great.

"He was sexed as a female but it turned out he was a slow blooming male if you get my drift the male lumps have become MORE then obvious haha, I was not planning to breed originally but it would be nice to spread his traits, I think he has a very cutesy look that people would really appreciate.

Anyways he is currently un-named but here he is See the separate distinct white at the very end of the tail? I thought it would grow out but its actually becoming larger and longer as hes getting older.

I would like to know any information if anyone's seen tails with a dip like this if its only an ss thing, if its found in other morphs? Or if its just him so far dadida, I tried using the searches, google engine, and so forth to try to find information but I have found nothing. So I have no Idea what causes it or if its merely just a pattern cutt-off down the tail that might affect some super snows?

If anyone else has a gecko with a dipped tail you should post your geckos picture here so I can seesies :) Curiosity kills me.

Obviously he is too young to breed so I will just be watching as he gets older to see if it continues growing longer, its only his toes and that tail tip that are pure white currently the rest is actually a pinkish lavender but will probably grow into a stronger white as he gets older.

I have also noticed his spots are becoming more brown but I have seen many SS with brown spots so I have no questions about that lol.

Any thoughts? :main_robin:

Very nice SS. I have hatched a SS which had a white band at the base of its tail...looked like a carrot tail but was white. Was hoping it would stay and become more pronounced or genetic but it filled in as she grew.

I've seen some from others with the white on the tails, feet, and arms. I procuded one with no spots at all on the lower arms and feet from breeding two cremesicles. Mine doesn't have the white on the tail, but I've seen some pictures from other breeders that have produced them. I love the look!
