I'm trying it out this year. I like it, but will know better as the season goes on if I will continue to use it. I'm incubating at 85, but have heard that incubating at 89 gets a lot of condinsation on the lid of the egg containers.

If people are experiencing condensation at higher temps wouldn't it be a good idea to leave some open holes in the container you're using? You'd have to keep an eye on it so they don't get too dry, but I think this would solve that problem...

I have been using it at 82 degrees and like it. I don't have any condensation problems but am using a Lyons Reptile incubator so I have been getting constant temps and with the himidity reservoir on the bottom everything keeps pretty constant. Not sure what would happen if I incubated at higher temps.

Ive heard some people say they believe its where you live for how well it works, me personally, it works fine for my female side (81-82 degrees) my male side (89 degrees) I actully had to poke a few holes in the male containers but Ive had no problems since ive done that. Just thought everyone would like to know my findings with the hatchrite since I started using it.

Would hatchrite work with out holes poked in the container for 84 degrees?

Apparently it depends on your location, elevation, so on and so forthe. I would recommend just getting a bag and trying to see what works, at first I woulnt poke any holes, and see how it works, what you are watching for is condinsation. Condinsation on the sides of the container are fine, but you dont want it building up on the lid because it will drip down onto your egg. Make sure to open your egg containers up once a week reguardless to allow fresh air into them. Good luck with it
