Hatchling Change?

Ok i have had several hatchlings as of late. Last night we got to looking at the older ones and the total design of only 2 or 3 has almost changed over the past few months the other looks pretty much the same. Is this normal? If so when will these major or even little changes stop?

I find that the biggest changes are in the first 3 months or so. HOwever, I've noticed that if a gecko is going to get more spots, it seems to continue up through the first year at least. There are also some changes (usually additional spotting and dulling of colors) that happen to females as a consequence of breeding.
