The reptile calculator is fine though it doesn't account for line bred traits like amount of spotting or tangerine color.
Here's how you ID your offspring:
--know the visual and "het" traits of the parents, so you know exactly what the possibilities are with the offspring
--photograph each hatchling at hatching to have a visual record of how it hatched
--examine your hatchling carefully and list the visual traits
--based on what you know of the parents, you also should know if a particular hatchling is definitely het for a trait it's not showing, or if it's possibly het
--there may be some offspring where it's not really easy to know exactly what it is because of an overlap in what different groups of traits may look like
--**most important: If what's written above makes no sense to you, don't breed until it does.
