I am a bit confused as I have not seen any hatchlings like this yet. These are from my TUG tangerine "G project" enigma and SHTC het Rainwater female. As far as I know no other genes are at play here. Any input on these 2? Do these look like tangerine enigma to anyone else or have you seen similar hatchlings? Any input or ideas would be great.

Anybody?? I have not been able to dig up any photos of similar hatchlings so I am still confused about this pairing outcome. Any ideas or input would be great.

Can't be of too much help here. It's difficult to visualize the "whole gecko" in each picture. The first has markings on the neck that make me think "Murphy's patternless". The second seems to have some sort of patternless stripe thing going on. That's the best I can do.

I thought murphy patternless which is weird. Although I guess my SHTC could have some murphy patternless genes way down the line...
Here are a couple updated pics.

My thought was patternless or blizzard. Can you contact the breeders you bought your geckos from? They definitely seem to have some hidden hets.

I may have too. I got the male Enigma straight from Urban Gecko and the female was one of my SHTC females from last season which came from parents with no known hets from Steve Sykes and Anthony at Extreme gecko. I was pretty confident in genetics but somebody must have missed something along the way....

I agree the marking on the neck kinda looks MP-ish to me. Would be strange to find the same het for patternless or Blizzard in geckos from two different and well know breeders who didn't claim the gecko to have any. Stranger things have happened though! I'd love to see how she matures! Maybe the mystery will unfold as she grows.
