Hatchling question?

My egg hatched yesterday and it what looks to be a mack snow hatched I'm just a little confused because he's more purple the white and he also has two solid black eyes so would this still be a mack snow? His clutchmate was a supersnow.

Sometimes the white on the snows is kind of a dirty white and can look gray or purple. As long as you're not really seeing any yellow, it's a snow. Check the eyes in a day or so. SOmetimes on the really little ones the pupils are so big that they look as if they're all black.

also if his clutchmate was a super snow then this one has a chance of being super snow right? so... super snows have all black eyes.

If it hatched with those bands, it wouldn't be a super snow. If the eyes remain all black I guess it's an eclipse, but I wouldn't be surprised if it turns out that the eyes don't look all black in a few weeks.
