.3. lol take a nap i think you deserve it after all your leopard gecko has your full attention
The poll will be interesting, but at the same time you have to remember that there are many factors that can alter the amount of time. Each Leo is different, just like us!! Their stress levels, personality, health, husbandry can all effect the timing of their actual digging, and laying. I have several females that all behave different. Some will go off food, and others just keep on eating during the last stages before laying. Some will dig excessively before laying. Others will be sneaky, and will dig, and lay all at one time. Some will be restless, and others will be just lazy, and sit in the lay box until time to lay. I always check the lay box first thing in the morning, and then right before I go to bed...that is it. Their lay boxes are all warm and moist, so if eggs are left for 10-12 hours, they are fine.Ruby started digging about 6 days ago. :O
5 minutes that day....skip a day...more digging.....skip a day and half...dig a little...then yesterday started a digging marathon...
I started a poll in the "Breeding" section so I can try to see if all females start digging 5+ days ahead of time.
My lay box is a roughly 9" x 6" tupperware container. It is positioned half on and half off the hot spot so she can decide where to lay them. Temps stay around the 80's in the lay box, which is fine.omg i thought if they were left for that long they will die lol i need to stop stressing
