Hate to admit, but I don't know what I have. Maybe you do!

Well when I got Eggo I went with 2 expectations 1) Male 2) Orange. I got both, but I guess it may be important to know what he is. I got him at a show back in September. They said sunglow? But I don't know. I am still learning.

Help. Oh and the orange has been moving down his tail with every shed.

He is nice and bright alright. Wish I could help more with the morph but I'm still learning that aspect of the leo world.

Not a sunglow because with the black markings, he's not an albino. I'd say he's heading towards superhypo tang carrot tail.

I've been reluctant to think carrot tail. I got him for 50 bucks and I see carrot tails that are quite a bit more than that. I didn't want to get too excited about that.

It's not a great carrot tail, but I think it qualifies (or it's going to when he gets a little older).

its probably as close to a carrot tail as you can get, but yeah i would say SHTCT, the carroting will probably spread more as the gecko gets older

What constitutes a "good" carrot tail? There is twice the amount of orange now than when I brought him home in September. ;)

Three things make it a "good" carrot tail:

--how much of the tail is orange
--lack of any black spots or fading black spots in the carrot tail area
--how vibrant orange it is

The reason I said earlier that it's not a "good" carrot tail (which doesn't make it a "bad" carrot tail) is that, while it does cover some of the tail, it's not a really vibrant orange (at least in the picture) and you can still see some fading black spots in the carrot tail area.
