I just went past these puppies...they're in an 8' x 8' enclosure and there are 2 of them...one of them has only 3 legs, looks like a birth defect...I have left word with this person, that puppy is never going to have a fullfilling life unless they find the right person. I'm going to adopt this puppy temporarily until I can find it a home.

She's a full blooded Husky, 1 blue eye 1 brown about 3 months old...very bouncy and loving...as soon as I can I will get her and give her a bath and have pics of her. If someone doesn't step in, she'll probably end up in the pound and put down. So I'm being that person. email or pm me.

you could get in touch with a husky rescue, continue fostering the pup, but have the husky rescue help you in locating a home. Until then you keep the pup...

Good luck...

Post her on www.petfinder.com. There are actually a surprising number of people who will readily adopt 3 legged dogs....I think 3 leggers actually tend to get adopted more quickly than dogs with 3 legs b/c people feel bad for them. Fortunately for the pup most dogs don't care if they have 3 legs and do pretty much everything just as well as any other dog and live just as happy and long :) Really the only concern with a 3 legged dog is the extra strain on the other legs...which often doesn't cause any problems, but can cause joint troubles.

....if I was out there I'd take her in a heartbeat.....I LOOOOOVE huskies...especially those with bicolor eyes....heh Good luck finding her a home...although I honestly doubt it will be all that hard
