I don't want to know how you're going to vote, please don't say. The National election falls on my birthday this year and it's been an exciting political race so it should make for an interesting day! So this was more of a reminder to register to vote if you haven't already. ;)

If I'm not mistaken, isn't it too late to register and vote for this upcoming election? I know there are a certain amount of days prior that you have to be registered, or you miss out. But maybe that deadline hasn't come yet?

Just curious...

I was like whoa! when i seen this post, lol because we have to ask all of our clients.. all of the time, if they would like to register to vote :) kinda nice to have some one reminding me for once. thanks :D ;)

kristin, i beleive the deadline is dependant on the state you live.
found this website, if anyone is interested http://www.declareyourself.com/voting_faq/state_by_state_info_2.html

Same here... I was so excited to finally be able to vote, and then I really started looking at the candiates:main_thumbsdown:

You're not alone by any means. It's a bit much when an "Energy Expert" can't even pronounce N-U-C-L-E-A-R ( "yeah, but look at my firm butt...tee heee).

I was actually asked to register to vote a few days ago at my school. My reply: "When I find someone worth voting for, sure."

Eh, politics is always about choosing the lesser of the two evils isn't it? LOL But remember that there are also a lot of local elections as well. If you have local politicians that are doing a good job let them know. You don't have to vote for President if you don't want to. And yes, the deadline for registration depends on where you live.

That's been my stand. I allllmost registered this year, then they opened their mouths and started talking. :main_rolleyes: I think the selection is better than last election, but I still don't feel like I can totally stand behind either one.

Yes, voting is really picking the lesser of two evils. Also, I feel that if you don't vote, then you shouldn't complain about the government... lol!

Good point, I agree with you.

I'm registered to vote and I already have the winner of my vote picked out.
