Yes, he will be just fine :main_yes: these things happen. I have had this happen to me several times, not on a day to day basis, but just several times with several different geckos. It seems to shake them a bit for a brief moment, but they always seem to be just fine shortly thereafter. I have never had a gecko stop eating or anything like that, after a fall. :)

UGH thanks guys. everything seems to be going wrong all at the same time. when i put him back in his tank he went right into his favorite corner and nestled up and fell asleep. another question....if it was too hot in his tank wouldnt he be staying on the cool side and not right under where the heat pad is? he keeps trying to climb the glass

sounds like he isnt liking his downgraded tank too well... that or maybe he isnt liking the being hiden deal??? give him a lil while to figure out he doesnt have as much room... he should be fine... ive had one fall on the floor before... and needless to say shes doing just fine today... so you should be all set!

Wow! I bet it scared the crap out of you when that happened!

I've always been afraid of them falling, so I'm relieved to hear that a short fall does no permanent damage.

Glad he's ok, my female HTCT is always threatening to walk right off whatever...my hand, the table, my shoulder, I have to super careful with her. My baby bell seems to have a little more sense.

That's EXACTLY how it is with my leo. He doesn't really try to escape, it's like he just doesn't pay attention! LOL :D

he should be fine. The day I got mine, I was measuring him before moving him to his tank and he jumped, hit his head on the dresser, fell about four feet to the floor and was fine. It probably scared me alot more than it did him.

I have had several geckos bolt off my hand from adults to babies and never had any problems. Scared me pretty good, but all were fine. I'm real good at catching them now.
