I've had a bearded dragon since she was a few months old. She had some health problems when she was first given to me and is now a healthy one year old adult dragon. My question is, what is a healthy weight and length for an adult dragon? I've done some research but found answers ranging anywhere from 16" to 22" and 200 to 500+ grams. For you experienced dragon owners, what is your view on a "healthy" dragon? Mine is 14 and 1/4" long and roughly 250-260 grams st a year old. Should she be heavier? Or what is a good weight/length goal? Her diet is mealworms and mustard greens every day and a few crickets once a week or once ever two weeks for a treat.

Also, here are a couple pictures of my girl just for fun. :)

bump? On a side note, I recently realized she was a male. He was temp sexed for a male, and I named him anubis. At 6 months was still showing female,so i renamed "her" Isis and i hadn't thought about checking again when she started growing like a weed. Now that he is close if not already full grown and over a year old, i checked upon impulse and realized my little girl, was a male xD I started calling him Anubis again, but he still answers to Isis :main_rolleyes: hey, it happens i guess :)

My recently deceased adult female beardie (died at 9 of old age) was 19" and 500-600 grams at 4-9 years of age. My new beardie who is estimated to be at least 7 months old but may be as much as a year is 14" and about 225 grams.
