I have a 3 slot rack. A Spyder Robtics thermostat set at 92. Heat tape is against the back wall. The back floor temp in the upper rack is 89-90. The back floor temp in the mid rack is 92. The back floor temp in the lowest rack is 99! Has anyone run into this before? What is too hot for leos.

Thanks

Where have u got the tip of the probe? Try putting it directly on the heat tape on the middle shelf. 99 is not too hot.Something is not right with your thermostat

Spyder robotics from Herpastat, purchased with the rack. I have it in the middle right next to the heating element.

Will do. I was thinking that the heat tape runs below the lowest shelf. This area is enclosed and I think it is trapping heat as it has no where to go. I was considering venting the space underneath to let the heat dissapate. What do you guys think?
