HI! I'm new to leopard geckos, having just adopted my first Leopard gecko on 1/13/16. its a baby weighing in at only 10 grams, but that is already 2 grams heavier then it was when I brought it home(to young to know gender yet). I have Amaru, which is what I named it, living in a 20L aquarium. with a ceramic heat emitter bulb, 3 different kinds of hide, a fake plant, 1 bowl each of water, calcium powder, and meal worms. Amaru will only eat its worms from tweezers (very picky eater too). I must admit Amaru was a whim purchase and I am rushing to get caught up on what he actually needs. The heating pad I had bought at +++++ for under the tank was broken and they didn't have another one in the right size for my tank, so I returned that on and I ended up ordering one online instead. until it arrives making do with twice an hour temp checks and a human heat pad, which is why the twice an hour heat checks (with a temp gun).
I also have 3 guinea pigs, a gerbil, a cat, and a dog at this time. though my mom has a water dragon, and I help her take care of it, since I live in her house it makes it easy to share supplies like reptile food, carefully of course to prevent cross-contamination just in case.
I gladly except polite advice
