Hello from Ohio

Hello everyone! I'm from North Central Ohio and very happy to have found this site! We'll have questions and I'm sure someone here can help us when we do! We've had Roxy the pom for 3 years, Squirt the yellow bellied slider for 3 years, Peppermint the puggle for 2 years, Rexy our first leopard gecko for almost 1 year, Pancake the stubborn dragon for 8 months, and our newest is Peaches the leopard gecko. My son has named all of them except the pom, she is our rescue baby. Why the names? My son named Squirt from the Nemo movie, Peppermint because she has a peppermint stripe down her back, Rexy because of the T-Rex eyes, Pancake because he flattens like a pancake when he's basking, and Peaches because he/she is the color of peaches. Kid's very creative with names!

Yeah, kids are great with naming things...however, my niece (6 years old) loves naming pets after family members. It's a bit weird, but she's a great kid.
