Hello, I am somewhat new to herps and completely new to leopard geckos. I got a corn snake from a breeder a couple months ago and was having so much fun with him I went to a reptile show and saw this adorable little leopard gecko. I've read up as much as I can but I'm sure to have many questions. Below are some videos of her, I've had her 4 days. She seems to be a relatively clumsy hunter but has gotten a couple crickets down the last few nights. I hope she's healthy. I've got her tank about 90 degrees on one side and 80 on the other, my apt will cool down as fall approaches. Currently I'm using a UVB light in the day and a black bulb at night, I ordered a thermostat for a UTH that I will use when it arrives. Also ordered some plain calcium powder. I inadvertently got some calcium with D3 in her food bowl knocking crickets dusted crickets into the cage, and she was licking at it a little (took it out after feeding). I hope that's OK. I've seen her drink water, her eyes are clear, mouth is pink. I've got a warm hide, cool hide and moist hide in her tank.
Anyway, considering the price, I imagine she's a 'normal' variety? Does she look normal and healthy? I hope to do a good job.
