Hello there! I have the joy of being the proud owner of a fun-loving crested gecko named Dusty. She’s a little ball of personality and energy, around 1.5 years old, and I’ve had the pleasure of caring for her for about 8 months now. Dusty is a little bit spoiled (but in the best way!) and loves to spend time with me, whether that’s hanging out on my shoulder, roaming freely around the house, or just chilling on my lap. She has such a curious and playful nature, always exploring and checking out new places.
Currently, Dusty lives in a 10-gallon enclosure, but don’t worry – I’m planning on upgrading her living space to a 29-gallon tank soon. She definitely deserves a bigger home where she can roam even more comfortably. Dusty loves her crested gecko diet, but she’s a bit of a diva when it comes to eating – she refuses to feed on her own! I have to hand-feed her every time, but honestly, it’s kind of a sweet little ritual we have. On occasion, she enjoys crickets as a treat, though they’re not her main focus, and she gets super excited for her favorite fruits, especially bananas and bruised apples.
Despite being a bit picky when it comes to her meals, Dusty is a super affectionate and interactive gecko. Whether she’s hanging out on my shoulder or wandering around the room, she’s never far from me, and it’s always a joy having her close by. I’m so grateful to have such a quirky, adorable, and affectionate companion in Dusty!
P.S. Sorry if this isn't a professional thread, I'm relatively knew to this forum, but I have used many other forum websites.
