Hi guys my name is Tyler and im new to the reptile world! I am looking into getting a leopard gecko and I came here to learn more. I am located in atlantic canada and I really don't know where to get a BABY leopard gecko, I would want a nice yellow with black spots (whatever morph) or some bright orange/yellow. Hopefully someone can help! Also would someone be able to tell me anything extra I would need other than substrate (papertowel/Retile-carpet no sand) and a aquariam thing. Where can i get a cage/Habitat for a leopard gecko. ( there is no pet stores around where I am located and walmart only has tall ones for fish.

Welcome to GF. As far as where to get babies there are a few people on here from Canada and would be able to ship them to you (weather permitting). The morphs you seem to be interested in are High Yellows and Tangerines (there are MANY lines of them all varying in shade, pattern, colors and so on). As far as husbandry you can check some site sponsors sites (I have one on my site) but the basics are a cage (obviously), substrate, heat source (uth works best), hides (at least 2, 1 on hot side 1 on cold), water dish, food dish (if feeding worms also can be used to have extra calcium in the cage). That is the basics...however, there are a lot more things you can do to decorate and monitor and control your temps more accurately (which I suggest). As far as where you can get a tank...there may be reptile shows within a reasonable distance from your house, special order one through a chain pet store, or order online if you must. If you have any more questions just ask.

Welcome to the forum. I wanted to suggest look in the classified section as recently I have seen a lot of really pretty leos listed. The forum also has some really good care sheets listed as well.
