Hi everyone! I'm a kindergarten teacher from Phoenix, AZ and recently got a new baby leopard gecko at the Mesa Reptile Expo. I also have a six year old leopard gecko and a Nelson's milksnake in my classroom, and a couple of beta fish and a psychotic cat at home. This has already been a really helpful forum, it's good to see so many different opinions and ideas that I can use.

Thanks all! My students love Scarlet and Bullwinkle. Every morning when we should be doing calendar activities or practicing sight words, we take them out to visit. The kids love it when I do voices and pretend the animals are talking to them. :)
I also just found out that I'll be inheriting a pair of baby chicks on Monday, someone bought them for Easter and couldn't keep them so they're being donated to my classroom. That should be interesting!
