Hey everyone. I recently picked up 2 leos. I have been researching them for a while now. My other animals are a cornsnake and a pacman frog. My 2 leos each have their own 16qt tub, 3 hides each(hot, cold, humid), calcium dish(ran out, more coming),water dish, and mealies in each dish. They are also on paper towels and each tub is heated with a UTH. So far one of them has eaten 4 mealworms in 3 days and the other has eaten just 1 cricket and 1 waxworm. I'm a little concerned, but I've read it can take a while for them to acclimate to their new surrounding. Also to add my temps are 90-94 in the daytime and drop to around 83 at night. P.S. I've ordered all my other reptiles from breeders online and was weary about picking these up from a petstore, but their enclosures looked up to par. any advice/tips and hellos are appreciated

Welcome to GF. It sounds as if you're doing fine. Many people don't bother with a night time temp drop, at least on the bottom of the enclosure because they keep the UTH on all the time. You're right, they'll eat more as they get more comfortable.

one my leos ate a cricket last night and the other ate a mealworm. Also the UTH are dimmer controlled so their night time drop is just my room temp dropping a bit. My corn right now has the luxury of my herpstat. I should be getting another one a little later in the year. But for now the dimmer does the job
