So I bought a container of 100 count mealworms from a store yesterday nd I never bought worms from them before but I have been to this store alot nd its a good store. PROBLEM is ! I noticed there was so much worm shedding in the container so I dumped the container&& started putting the good alive worms in the container with oats. And then I found 2 deads one... & wait thats not the PROBLEM. I found 6 HUGE mealworms in there. What do I do???!! I put them in a different container along with 2 mealworms that I also found in there that are white&see through. What do I ? My gecko is a juvie. Barely 3 months

The white ones have recently shed and will darken in a few days. They are actually softer than the darker ones. The huge ones are just mealworms that got really big. I have generally fed mealworms of any size to my several month old leopard geckos with no problem. If you're worried about it, then just don't feed those to your gecko. After awhile, they will turn into "aliens" and later on into beetles. You can just get rid of the aliens (toilet) if you want, or you can keep the beetles and breed your own mealworms (lots of info about that; google is your friend).
