I was wondering what's the approximate weight that ball pythons hatch at? I was also wondering if 70 grams is too young to buy? I have a descent deal out for a pair of albinos ($875), but the guy wants to sell his smallest pair for the price. They look nice but, I'm not going to take a chance to save $125. Oh, and does it matter that they are from the same clutch?
Thanks,
Brent

Not really sure on the size, but the price is pretty good from what I have seen.
One thing that does come to mind for me is breeding albino to albino. I am sure people could correct me if I am mistaken. But I remember reading a few times that its not a good thing to do. That could just be peoples personal opinions though since I myself have never ownd an albino ball python and bred it.
If that is the case though if the person you are thinking of buying them from could give you a deal on an Albino male and maybe an albino het female that would probably be the road I would go.

If you do end up buying that pair ask the breeder if the two babies have each gone thru there first shed and had a couple meals in them just to make sure they are eating.

They hatch from 50 grams to 90-100 grams, in your case of buying a baby Albino, just make sure, it has his first shed and eat at least once, because you can have problems, I have seen some babys that since they were born they didn´t eat at once and they look bad :(.

The price is good, I think it would be better to don´t buy a related pair of brothers, there's no problem breeding them but in future can be bad.

Good Luck

I never heard of it, you got more information? I got friends who breed there Albinos (albino x albino) and never got issues, but it's intereseting.

I ended up telling the guy no thanks. I thought they seemed a little small to be selling and to only save $125 for sub par weights and rep, it doesn't seem worth it.
Thanks for the help,
Brent
