HELP! eye question/eye problem need advice <--Look here

I have had this gecko for about a week and a half and have noticed her eyes one of them is not quite as open as the other I have tried to research eye infections but the eye is not cloudy and she is eating fine I am just wondering if you guys think it is still infected or is this a birth defect or scaring I am just needing to know what I need to do? There are not really any good reptile vets around here unless anyone knows of any but I have tried to locate one in the area before and only found one who would accept reptiles and was not impressed at all. So please someone give me some advice I am just not wanting things to get worse like I said the actual eye ball does not look infected and looks just as the other its just the eye lid or something around the eye.

OH and it is not effecting her sight she can still spot a cricket from a mile away

Here are some pictures I have included to help

The shape of the eye looks off and the eyeball looks different could be the pic, could be a birth defect. Im sure some of the more experienced people on here can help

It could also be that she has something in her eye. When they shed sometimes the skin from inside the eyelid doesn't completely come off and can get stuck inside the eye. It does looks more like that eye is just smaller though which is usually a genetic deformity.

birth defect. Kind of looks like there might be some grey stuff in the corner of the eye but it might just be the pic. If it looks totally fine then I would not worry about it.

If you think there is something in the eye then try using a drop of saline solution(preservative free) to see if that loosens anything up. Good luck!

Agreed on the saline solution, you could also do a gentle flush with a needlless syringe twice a day for two to three days. If you don't see debris coming out, then she's probably fine and like said above, it's likely a genetic defect. But it's better to be safe than sorry.
