Have you even looked at all? It surprises me that you said "last night" and you still haven't found her. I wouldn't sleep until I found my gecko if she was lost. When leos escape, they usually do not go too far, often, they find the nearest hiding place. Search every possible corner and hiding spot.

REALLY?!?

Have you ever lost a pet before? They are SMALL. They cram themselves weird places. Please don't be mean, sheesh.

Carly, that assumption was a little rude, don'tcha think?

If there is ever a "next time", look in warm places first, under appliances that generate heat (water heaters, computers, entertainment centers.) Also, I have had a few escapes over the years, they tend to like to hide behind furniture like bookshelves, especially if there is crawl space under them. One time my favorite hybino went missing during cleaning, it took me two days and moving every last bookshelf I own to find her (and I have way too many books, I have like...8?). She was, of course, under the very last one.

Another thing you can try is to put out a heating pad under a hide with some mealies and water out in the open, to coax them into staying there until you find them. Some folks have had success with that...

Thank you I have been breeding geckos for a year and that was my first time one escaping and when morning came and couldn't find her I was freaking out and then I finally got on here and posted. glad, you two agreed with me I felt I was rude back to him or her, but I spend most of my day when I am not at work checking on my reptiles! I will keep you boths advice if it occures again.

I wholeheartedly agree and I do apologize on behalf of my response. I had absolutely no intentions of being rude and do admit that I got a little overwhelmed. I am very glad, latshki, that you found your gecko and wish him/her the best of health and happiness!

When Zelda escaped by climbing up a plant I stupidly put too high up in the tank I TORE my room apart...it didn't help that laundry was everywhere (Suppose this was punishment for not doing my laundry sooner XD) Anyways, long story short, we found her after about an hour underneath my bookshelf.....my parents were not happy, and my cat even less so since he was banished to the garage during this time lol.

(For those of you who might be wondering, Zelda and Rin fought which is why I separated her...but the tank was far too small and I thought it selfish to keep her in less then optimum conditions so I returned her to the petstore.)
