Help ID this Gecko I Found!

Howdy!

I found this little guy in my backyard resting in the shade... I ran in and grabbed my DSLR and snapped some shots because of how great he looked! The best part was, though, that he was very calm - he let me pet him without running away, and he didn't mind me having my macro lens in his face :D

He was also very quick to change color when he was on different surfaces

Here are some of the shots. Anyone know what kind of gecko this is? (I live in Houston, TX if that helps)

Ah, thank you! That's him!

I feel foolish that I assumed it was a gecko :p

Cool pictures. Some anoles aren't as flighty as others & they will let you stick a camera in their face. I've taken a few at my parents property. They look cool, bright green on the white rock of the house. They are pretty fast though, once you startle them.
