Hello all,

New to the forum here but just had a few questions. I have had leopards in the past and just adopted these two off of craigslist. They came as a pair. I know the one on the right is obviously a leopard. Ive never seen a tail like the one on the left though. My questions are: The one on the right, what kind of morph is she? And, the one on the left, is that just a regenerated tail? and what kind of morph is she?

I've looked up info on fat tails but couldn't find one of this color. Im just confused about the tail coloring.

They both appear to be females, and they do get along well.

Left is a murphy's patternless with a regenerated tail, which looks really good for a regen, considering how it looks like she lost most of it.

Right is a super hypo tangerine carrot tail.

Pretty girls you've got there!

Question, how do you discern a murphy's patternless from a midnight blizzard? I know that midnights aren't a genetically proven morph, but they look identical to me.

Blizzards dont have any carrot tail what so ever. The one in the photo has a slight carrot tail. Also blizzards are not supposed to be yellow/brown, generally more grey.

Two things...

1. The murphy's patternless has little bits of stuck shed on its toes that would be a good idea to remove. Shed stuck on toes over a prolonged period of time can cause the leo to loose circulation in the toe and fall off. Toes do not grow back...

2. Were either of these geckos housed with a male at some point? IDK it looks a little like the one on the left has eggs but it may just be ovulating or fat.
