i vote mack tremper het raptor..
raptor genetic can produce some really nice stripe/reverse or jungle pattern..the mack is a nice data to add at the project..
if you are plenty of female for your enigma i will go with the mack tremper because the my tremper het raptor has give me some really nice babies with my red stripe female this year :)
of course ..you can have best results if your mack tremper het raptor is a nice one ;)

While I am sure everyone wants to SEE more redstripe X enigmas, will the market bear the production level I COULD produce while still holding some value?

I am no fool when it comes to genetics and vision of crosses by any means. eclipse redstripe in 09 sounds cool, mack redstripe(tremper) sounds cool, and an eventual (MS) redstripe "raptor" sounds hot too.

I want to make happy healthy geckos and being cool looking is a bonus. It doesn't need to be a $500+ gecko for me to want to produce it, because most people only want a <$200 cool looking pet gecko.

I went with the giant eclipse het RAPTOR. Always a fan of eclipse eyes and Ive never seen it on an stripe. And giants are allways cool.

Personally I think there will be enough Enigma crosses to go around with more than I think the average customer would want Or than the Market will be able to handle. But than the more they pop out the cheaper they will be. That my view from a business sstance and personally Im not super keen on enigmas at this point.

I have to second Jerome, those were my reasons for picking the giant eclipse het RAPTOR as well. I love eclipse eyes and would love to see them possibly on another morph.

Well, I decided to let my enigma male take a break to get some more wieght back on(he's 57 grams), so my eclipse got a GF.

I would rather make a few lesser animals, than work my male too hard.

No images, sorry..

Woohoo! Great choice my friend! I can't wait to see what you produce!

I say incubate eggs for female and get a nice male from RT's Emerine line (he'll probably have ones available that are het for Eclipse this year) to breed them to... Heck after this season you should be able to drop $1200-$1500 on one... ;) IMO that would be a SOLID project!

Well spoken :main_yes:

I have better visions that Mike.... come on. I think I will holdback this idea, but watch out in 09 for a ugly fulleyed gecko or 50:main_laugh:

Price has never been an issue with my breeders, because quality doesn't usually come cheap(yet some are far exaggerated in price)

Well I said 'Emerine Project', but meant more specifically the Red Stripe ones... I don't want to start a debate here, but I think those ones are some of the best looking geckos out there... If I had the money I would pay $2500 for a Red Stripe Eclipse Emerine next year well before a Mack Snow Eclipse Enigma...

I am more of a fan of Lav stripe enhanced redstripes myself, but to each their own. Believe me, no disappointments and that's a guarantee.
