Help needed.

Well following everyone's reccomnedations I bought CGD. The little crestie is doin fine but I cant get him to eat the CGD. I put it in his cage and the next day its untouched. The only things he seems to repsond to are crickets/

Any Ideas?

try it off a spoon and put it infront of his face also they eat so little u can hardly even tell if its crickets hes only been eating then hes not going to respond to the cgd for a little while as hes not used to it!

Yes, I do have an idea.
STOP offering crickets for now.:main_yes:

Only offer CGD, if s/he gets hungry enough he/she will eat the CGD.
The CGD has everything your crested will need anyway. Crickets/other insects are optional.
CGD is not.

Well ya see havent fed him crickets fr a week! And the guy still refuses to eat CGD. Quite frusttrating.

Anyway so today I thought to a little creative so I took a small amoun of banana and mixed it with CGD powder and water, pureed it and places it in the guys cage. Within seconds he was all over it eating it up!

Quite the accomllishment. Ill eventually wean him off the banan portion but for now it works i guess.
