Help! Should I feed if he's about to shed?

So, I'm not sure if I should feed him before he sheds. He's just turned gray this afternoon, and I hadn't fed him yesterday. Just as I was about to feed him, I noticed he was gray. Should I feed him or wait?

You can just feed him as usual, if he wants to eat he'll eat. I have some that won't eat before shed, but also some that are super hungry right before shed. So, let him decide.

Callista will eat before she sheds but not the day of the shed.

Eeek! I've only had him for a week or so, so he's still nervous of me.. And I found he still has some shed skin on his foot! What should I do? I can't keep him still to help him.
