how old is she? I breed and raise leos. If she is some where around 8-12 months and she weighs anywhere from 50-75 grams it could be possible she is eating less because she is stopped growing. since i raise leos from hatchlings to adults i have had the experience of leos stop eating when i first started breeding them. They would be eating every other day 5-6 crickets every feeding. Then all of a sudden they stopped eating, or so i thought. What was actually happening was they stopped growing, so now instead of eating every other day they would only eat 8-9 crickets once a week. She looks like she is a healthy weight so i would not worry yet at all. She has a nice sized tail, so even if she has stopped eating she could live for 3-4 months before she would die. I would keep watching her for a couple of weeks and if she has not eaten anything after 4 weeks then take her to the vet. Sometimes leos in captivity even if they are not put through a temperature drop can still put them selves through some what of a hibernation. Even if you do not drop the temp. of her heat sorce the outside air temperature will drop because of the changing seasons we live in. I hope all goes well i just read that at night you use a bulb and a under the tank heater. That could be your problem there. I live in canada where its is cold in the winter. I only use u.t.h all year round and i have never had any problems ever for the 8 years that i have been breeding. By using both those heat sorces at the same time it could be way to hot for her and that would cause her to stop eating. Is the heat pad under the spot where the bulb is? doring the day what is the temp on the warm side. What is the temp at night. For leopard geckos a night time temp for the warm side of the tank can be between 70-75 and on the cool side 65-70. I think the fact that you use both at the same time could be your problem. What i would do is use the bulb only during the day and then use the U.T.H. only at night. Depending what the temp is at night in your house you might not even need any heat from a heat source at night.

In mu opinion you should have the hot spot at 90. From all of the research that i have done that is the temp that everyone say is the best. Anything above 94-95 is to much. If you want more verifaction go to www.leopardgecko.com This is Ron Trempers web site he has been breeding leos for more than 30 years and he keeps the hot spot in his cages at 90 at all times day and night.
