So today my gecko shed and I noticed some stuck shed on her toes and nose area, I put her on a plastic container with wet warm paper towels, around ten mins later I put her back in her own 10G tank.

Around two hours later I check on her and her left eye is swollen!
She has NO shed around that aye so I'm guessing it's swollen because when she sheds she pushes her head on the wall to remove the shed.....
Should I be worried?......Do I need a vet visit?
Would it cost more than $50(that's all I have)

Here's a pic, You can't really tell the difference, also the eye looks black but it's because of the light.

bro i'm not a vet, but as gecko lover ofcourse you should get a vet to check the state of health of that gecko, the only thing i tell you is that is not particulary normal that happen

:S to be true is the first case i ear about so no much help can be delivered here for me.

It could be swollen due to rubbing. Sometimes a tiny piece of shed can gut stuck on the inner portion of the eyelid. Use some lukewarm (90F or less) to flush that eye out. A syringe (without a needle) works well. You can also use saline solution. If the swelling doesn't go down in a couple of days or if you start seeing discharge then you should make a vet appointment.

Saline is used for contacts and as eye rinse, you can usually get some sterile saline from a Walgreens. I agree that there is possibly some stuck shed in the eye. Treat it early this turned into a major ordeal with my girl and its been 3 weeks of vet trips and different drops and ointments..
