During the day the hot side of my cage is 86-90 and the cool side is 82-85. Is this good. At night my hot side is 72-76 and the ground temp is like 80 and on the cool side its 72-76 and the floor temp is 74 Is this good>> thanks

What kind of heat are you using? An undertank heater is preferrable. Your hot side should stay at around 90 degrees on the surface where the gecko's belly is all the time, and whatever normal room temperature is for the rest of the tank. If the room temprature goes above 90 degrees, you can turn the UTH off until it cools down below 85.

your temp should be at 90 to 94 on the hot side. A zoo med repti therm 500r should be good for a tank to. check them out atwww.zoomed.com

If the UTH is to hot, you can use a rheostat, that will be enough to keep it from getting to hot.
