Awesome youre a DVM, but not a herp vet by any means, but have some self taught knowledge.

So? what do mean that I'm "not a herp vet by any means" that I have no "paper prove"? I'm a vet. doctor and I apply my knowledge on reptiles, I know their features and the features of thier treatment, I keep them for many years and I know how to treat them. of cource I have many things to learn more

agree about sand. there' always a risk.

There are vets and there are herp vets that specialize in reptiles and have trained in their proper vet care. When I take my reptiles to a vet they go to a reptile vet, someone that specializes in their care.

I thought maybe it's some kind of morph..:D cause there was a photo of my leo eirlier. could you tell is this a high-yellow?

So, I am a vet, that is specializing in reptile care:) as for other animals - I'm an assist

Breeding with a het Blizzard would only give you a small chance of proving the other to be het Blizzard or not. If you suspect the one to be het blizzard, best to breed with a Blizzard to be sure.

Im just confused on if you know that calcium sand can be a risk, and that impaction is possible, even though your geckos now havent suffered from impaction, why would you risk them suffering from it in the future? Why not nip possible risks before they happen?

I only have 1 blizzard female and 2 het blizzard males. The high-yellow is a female too. Only if I'll get blizzard male in future
